Published Date: April 1, 2026
Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) is pleased to announce the opening of its new San Diego office, further expanding the firm’s California presence and strengthening its ability to serve clients throughout the state and across the country.
The expansion includes the addition of attorneys Robert “Bob” Marks and Richard J. “RJ” Pinto II of Marks & Pinto LLP, whose practice is now part of P&A, along with Shailendra “Shay” Kulkarni and Patrick McManus. Together, the group brings deep experience in construction law, litigation, and government contracts, enhancing the firm’s capabilities across California and the West Coast. The team will work closely with P&A’s Los Angeles office to provide seamless service to clients throughout the region.
Firm Chair Steven M. Charney commented, “P&A has focused on construction and infrastructure law for nearly five decades. For many years we have been looking to further expand our ability in California to deliver the high level of client service and dedication that is our hallmark. We knew we could only do so with the right team, so we are especially excited to bring together this remarkable group of talented and well-respected construction lawyers. Their rich experience in both construction litigation and government contracts, coupled with a deep commitment to client service, is exactly what we have been looking for and then some!”
Bob Marks added, “San Diego has been home to our practice for many years, and we’re proud of the relationships we’ve built within the region’s construction community. Joining Peckar & Abramson allows us all to continue serving that community while offering clients the resources and reach of a national construction law firm. The firm’s focus on construction and infrastructure combined with its collaborative platform make this a natural fit for our team and for our clients.”
