Peckar & Abramson Welcomes Eli Pierce and Tracey Williams as Partners; Announces Additional Promotions to Senior Counsel and Senior Associate

Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) is pleased to announce that Eli Pierce and Tracey Williams of P&A’s Dallas office have been promoted to Partner. P&A is also pleased to announce Arthur Tergesen of the firm’s New Jersey office has been promoted to Senior Counsel, and Mitchell Abood and Alexandra McKissick of the Miami office have been promoted to Senior Associate.

About the Attorneys
Eli Pierce has extensive experience representing construction clients in state and federal appellate courts and has a track record of successfully defending favorable rulings and overturning unjust decisions. He has tried, arbitrated, and negotiated high-stakes cases spanning schedule impacts, defects, payment disputes, liens, and complex commercial claims, all the way through appeal when necessary. Eli earned his J.D. at the University of Oklahoma College of Law and his B.A. from Texas A&M University, where he’s an active member of the Texas A&M Bar Association.
Tracey Williams represents contractors, developers, owners, and subcontractors in Texas and Oklahoma during all phases of the construction process, and thereafter. She assists clients in managing project risk through effective contractual risk allocation and counsels clients in construction matters involving contract disputes, mechanic’s and materialman’s liens, bond claims, construction defects, and other construction-related claims. In addition to construction law, Tracey has extensive experience in creditor’s rights and commercial collections. Tracey earned her B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington, cum laude, and her law degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, now known as the Texas A&M University School of Law.
Arthur Tergesen litigates a wide range of construction-related commercial disputes involving construction defects, delays, and breach of contract claims in New York and New Jersey. In addition, he has a background in contractual indemnity disputes, employment agreement disputes, and professional liability claims and has experience with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. During his career, Arthur has conducted numerous high-value mediations and has argued multiple times before the New York State Supreme Court and the New York State Appellate Division. In addition to his legal experience, he is a Certified Public Accountant. Arthur earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Iona College, cum laude, and his Juris Doctorate, cum laude from Brooklyn Law School.
Mitchell Abood represents clients in a wide range of construction‑related matters, including construction defect cases, breach of contract disputes, delay and disruption claims, payment disputes, and issues involving mechanic’s liens and bond claims. He serves on the board of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Greater Florida Young Constructors Forum. Mitchell received his B.A. in Economics at Michigan State University and his J.D. at the University of Miami School of Law, where he was the Editor of the University of Miami Law Review Symposium. During law school, Mitchell served as a judicial intern for several courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Michigan Supreme Court. He also served as a legal intern for the Miami State Attorney’s Office.
Alexandra McKissick focuses her practice on construction law and business litigation. She has experience representing contractors in large construction cases involving construction defects, project delays, contract disputes, payment issues, and other construction‑related claims. Alexandra earned her B.S. from the University of Texas and her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, Alexandra served as a judicial intern for U.S. Magistrate Judge Chris M. McAliley with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
