Peckar & Abramson Deepens Texas Construction Bench with Addition of Partner Cody Schneider in Houston

Peckar & Abramson, P.C. (P&A) is pleased to announce that Cody Schneider has joined the firm as a Partner in its Houston office. Board Certified in Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction held by a limited number of attorneys in the state, Cody represents industry stakeholders across Texas and the United States in construction disputes, commercial litigation, and project counseling.
Cody’s joining P&A reflects the firm’s continued investment in serving the robust Texas construction and infrastructure market and further strengthens the firm’s ability to support clients navigating high-value, complex projects across the region. Known for distilling complex legal issues into clear, actionable guidance, Cody works closely with clients to protect their interests while advancing project goals.

About Cody Schneider
Cody has significant experience navigating high-stakes legal matters involving commercial developments, industrial facilities, LNG and energy expansion projects, renewable infrastructure, data centers, and public works. He regularly appears in state and federal courts and frequently leads cases through mediation and arbitration. Cody advises clients on disputes involving breach of contract, scheduling impacts, change orders, productivity claims, construction defects, delays, liquidated damages, mechanic’s liens, bond claims, and risk allocation through contract drafting and negotiation.
Actively engaged in Houston’s civic and business community, Cody serves on the Board of Directors for Central Houston, Inc. and the Construction Law Section of the Houston Bar Association, among other leadership roles. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch and Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars.
Cody received his J.D. from South Texas College of Law where he served on the South Texas Law Review as well as the Board of Advocates and he obtained his B.S. in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.
