Peckar & Abramson attorneys Stewart Shurtleff, Tim Matheny, Ian Fullington, Paulo Flores, and Denis Ducran will present during the seminar, “Construction Law for Contractors,” hosted by TEXO on September 2, 2020 from 9:00am to 4:00pm CDT at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch, TX. The one day seminar will navigate attendees through the construction law overlay to a typical construction project from a general contractor and subcontractor prospective. This will begin with the negotiation of prime contract and subcontract, continue through the project documentation of common project-related claims, and continue through the claims process until resolution of the case through traditional dispute resolution mechanisms (mediation and arbitration/litigation). This moderated narrative will allow conversation and interaction among the participants while touching on the core issues described above and ancillary issues associated therewith.
