Steven M. Charney, Jerry P. Brodsky and Frank M. Rapoport will be speaking at the Associated General Contractor’s 2014 Conference on Surety Bonding and Construction Risk Management on February 3 – 5, 2014 at the Ritz Carlton Golf Resort, Naples, Florida. Mr. Rapoport will be moderating a panel session on February 5, 2014 titled “Doing Business Differently: A Primer on P3s, the Private Funding for Such Projects, and the Novel and Typically Greater Risks They Require Construction Contractors to Manage”. The session will focus on the various sources of private funding for such projects and what the construction contractor need to know about it. Mr. Brodsky will be a panel member in a session on February 4, 2014 titled “Using The Tools: Where and How Communication and Documentation Fit into a Larger Strategy to Mitigate Risk”. This session will focus on two of the often overlooked tools in the risk management toolbox: timely communications and proper project documentation.
