Gary M. Stein, co-managing partner of P&A’s Miami office, will present during “Consequential Challenges in Arbitration Clauses,” a panel at the 37th annual Construction Super Conference.
This panel will examine key factors when drafting a construction contract’s arbitration clause. Leaving out critical language to address issues such as jurisdiction, standing, and the scope of the arbitration clause can force parties into court, cause delays, and significantly increase the overall cost. The upfront planning of the arbitration clause, especially when multiple parties are anticipated, is essential to ensure a fair and efficient dispute resolution process for parties, their counsel, and the arbitrators.
The panel will occur on Thursday, November 30, from 11:30am to 12:45pm ET at The Diplomat in Hollywood, Florida. CLE credits are available. To register, please click here.
