Kevin O’Connor, chair of P&A’s Business Litigation practice and vice-chair of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice, will present during “Untangling the Web: A Closer Look at Legislative Prohibitions on Mandatory Arbitration for Sexual Harassment Claims and the Wave of Prohibitions on NDAs,” a panel discussion at the Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) 2023 Annual Conference.
This session will cover recent legislative actions and what they mean for employers; practical tips on the new Act and whether it will apply; examining new case law; explore exemptions to the FAA that may exist to take employee claims out of the new Act; and provide an opportunity for a robust discussion about the pros and cons of alternative dispute resolution in this new environment.
The panel will take place on March 30 at 3:30pm ET, and the conference will run March 29-31 at the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street Tampa, Florida.
