Monte along with other former prosecutors will explore a number of important topics including: how the Task Force is not “new” at all, but has been functioning within the DA’s Office for many years, the various agencies that work with the Task Force; the types of cases the Task Force has investigated, its current focus and its focus going forward, what criteria it uses to decide whether to open an investigation and how the DA’s Task Force compares to the Construction Industry Fraud Task Force maintained by the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.
