Curran, a partner in Peckar & Abramson’s New York office, will be participating in a panel discussion entitled “The False Claims Act in Construction Projects” on June 17, 2015 at the New York City Bar Association. Mr. Curran will be joined on the panel by seven other reputable attorneys to discuss how the False Claim Act works, elements of an False Claim Act violation, types of acts found to violate the False Claim Act, how to counsel clients to avoid committing False Claim Act violations, and how to defend against False Claim Act actions brought by the federal government.
