K. Stefan Chin will be speaking at an South Florida Associated General Contractors Young Construction Forum event on March 19, 2015 from 6:30 – 9:30pm at Hollywood Dave & Busters in Hollywood, Florida. Mr. Chin will participate as part of a panel that will discuss the Chapter 558 process from the perspective of the owner/developer, general contractor, and subcontractor, and a boots-on-the-ground point of view. Mr. Chin will focus his portion of the presentation on the Chapter 558 process from the perspective of the general contractor, including the general contractor’s rights and responsibilities under Chapter 558, the goals of the contractor in the Chapter 558 process, and the practical and logistical issues that the contractor should be aware of and take into consideration.
