Nathan A. Cohen is a Partner in Peckar & Abramson’s Los Angeles office and Chair of the firm's Public-Private Partnerships practice. He focuses his practice on construction law, commercial litigation, real estate, corporate compliance and internal investigations.

Mr. Cohen was most recently Chief Legal Officer for a large privately-held real estate company based in Los Angeles. He actively managed and oversaw the day-to-day legal matters impacting the company while reporting directly to the Board of Directors. His responsibilities included assisting in the management of the company’s real estate portfolio, and overseeing the acquisition, sale, financing and development of properties throughout the United States.
Prior to that, Mr. Cohen was a senior associate with Peckar & Abramson for four years where he actively participated in all aspects of the litigation process and provided clients with corporate ethics and regulatory compliance advice. Prior to Mr. Cohen’s time at P&A he served as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia where he successfully prosecuted individuals accused of such felony offenses as complex narcotics distribution conspiracy and weapons charges.
