Alexandra Dement

Alexandra advises and assists general contractors, construction managers, owners, developers, and other construction industry stakeholders on legal issues arising throughout the life cycle of a project. She previously worked at Peckar & Abramson as a Summer Associate, where she gained early experience in construction law and developed a strong understanding of the firm’s client-focused approach to serving the construction industry.

Before beginning her legal career, Alexandra gained hands-on experience in the construction industry. She earned her B.S. in Construction Science and Agricultural Systems from the University of Tennessee. Alexandra has worked as a Preconstruction Intern with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company in Washington, D.C., and Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC, in Nashville, Tennessee. She also served as a Project Management Co-Op Intern with Brasfield & Gorrie in Atlanta, Georgia, where she contributed to the construction a multi-million-dollar hospital. This experience provided her with valuable insight into the challenges faced by clients in the field, so that she can now serve as their strong legal advocate.

Alexandra earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
