Michael C. Zisa and Adrian L. Bastianelli, III will be speaking at the National Association of Surety Bond Producers( NASBP) Annual Meeting, May 15-18, 2016 at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mr. Zisa and Mr. Bastianelli will be speaking at an afternoon session on May 16, 2016 titled, “Joint Ventures in Construction”. The course will address the critical issues that surety bond producers must understand about joint ventures including: forms, types, ownership, capitalization, management, liability, profits, subcontracting, defaults, withdrawal or dissolution, insurance and bonding, and dispute resolution. The presentation will also address special Joint Venture issues related to surety bonds, minority owned businesses and the False Claims Act.
