Melinda S. Gentile will be participating in a panel discussion at the 2016 American Arbitration Association Construction Conference: Ahead of Schedule and Under Budget on April 1, 2016, at the Conrad Hotel in Miami, Florida. Ms. Gentile’s panel discussion titled ” “What Every Advocate Can Learn from Walking in the Shoes of an Arbitrator” will discuss how advocates do not properly consider how they are perceived or what tools they are actually giving to the arbitrator to assist him/her in rendering a decision. The discussion will also discuss whether or not the advocate is an effective communicator as well as how to anticipate the arbitrator’s needs to make the decision the advocate wants.
