Bio
Kate’s commercial dispute experience spans litigation, regulatory, and arbitration matters at both state and federal levels. She has advised on cases concerning antitrust, civil torts, white collar defense, and employment claims. Kate brings a rigorous and discerning approach to complex legal issues, leveraging her analytical acumen to develop practical, strategic solutions for clients.
Before joining P&A, Kate was an Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm. While attending NYU School of Law, Kate worked as a Judicial Extern for the Hon. Edward J. Davila of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California where she researched and composed several orders on behalf of the court. She also served as an Editor of the Annual Survey of American Law for two years and as the Partnership & Diversity Co-Chair for Law Women at NYU. Prior to law school, Kate worked as a Law Clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, a Legal Intern for the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office, and a Legal Intern for the Social Justice Collaborative in the Bay Area.
Kate is fluent in Spanish. She previously lived in Ecuador, where she volunteered full-time for Manna Project International, a local nonprofit dedicated to sustainable community development.
