Dorthy Koncur is a Senior Associate in Peckar & Abramson’s New Jersey office. With a focus on construction law and commercial litigation, Ms. Koncur primarily handles complex construction and commercial litigation matters on behalf of contractors, owners, developers, suppliers, sureties and other construction professionals. She regularly advises on complex matters, including civil litigation, employment law, and dispute resolution.

While experienced in all phases of litigation, Ms. Koncur strives to provide the most cost-effective representation possible, making use of alternative dispute resolution and early settlement. She has drafted and negotiated numerous settlement agreements and has represented public entities in collective bargaining negotiations.
Prior to joining Peckar & Abramson, Ms. Koncur served as General Counsel for a New York-based consulting group. In this capacity, she developed and implemented a range of corporate policies and employment practices, drafted complex contractual agreements, and advised the CEO on employment matters. This practical experience allows her to provide clients with a forward-thinking, business-oriented approach to solving their legal needs.
Ms. Koncur is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey. She received her B.S. from Rutgers College and her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2013, where she served as the Student Director of the Eugene Gressman Moot Court Competition. Following law school, Ms. Koncur served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Mark P. Ciarrocca, J.S.C. in the Civil Division of the New Jersey Superior Court.
