Anthony Melon is an associate in Peckar & Abramson’s New York office. He has significant experience in construction litigation, having effectively represented clients in construction and engineering defect cases, breach of contract disputes, and a variety of related matters within the construction industry. Anthony also has experience in complex, commercial litigation, having served a wide array of clients including individuals, closely held partnerships, and both small and large corporations. In addition, he has assisted clients in contract negotiations, shareholder disputes, regulatory compliance, and government contracts, and represented clients in prosecuting civil fraud and professional malpractice claims.

Before entering private practice, Anthony served as the law clerk to the Honorable Robert P. Contillo, P.J.Ch., and Honorable Menelaos W. Toskos, J.S.C., in the New Jersey Superior Court, Chancery Division.
With a robust background in environmental and energy law, coupled with his experience in construction law, Anthony utilizes a detail-oriented approach to his practice. Whether it be in litigation or contract negotiation, he understands that a successful outcome requires immersion in details and creative problem solving.
Anthony received his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and his B.A. from Rutgers University.
