Peckar & Abramson's New York, Miami and Washington, D.C offices receive top rankings from Chambers USA
Peckar & Abramson is pleased to announce the opening of its seventh U.S. office in Washington, D.C. as a result of the merger with DC-based Bastianelli, Brown & Kelley, Chtd.. We would like to welcome partners Adrian Bastianelli, III, James A. Kelley, Charles M. Reifel , Donald A. Tobin, and Ronald H. Uscher as well as associates Nick R. Hoogstraten, Lori Ann Lange and Robert D. Banfield.
In addition, William (Tom) W. Thompson, Jr. and Michael A. Branca, formerly partners at Alexandria, VA-based Thompson & Waldron, have joined Peckar & Abramson's new D.C.office as partners.
As a result of the merger, Peckar & Abramson will now have a staff of 73 lawyers, most of whom represent contractors, construction managers and developers. Nine partners from Peckar & Abramson have been selected as leaders in the field of Construction Law according to the first edition of The International Whos Who of Construction published by Whos Who Legal this month. The nine partners are: Richard L. Abramson, Robert S. Peckar, Steven M. Charney, Stephen H. Reisman, Bruce D. Meller, George J. Pierson, Patrick J. Greene, Jr., Charles F. Kenny, and Howard M. Rosen.
According to Whos Who all nine partners received an exceptionally high level of nominations from clients and peers in the course of the research. The book is a result of six months of independent research incorporating feedback from lawyers and in-house counsel, and covers 370 lawyers in 32 separate jurisdictions.
