Stephen
Reisman

Mr. Reisman’s
primary
area
of
practice
is
Construction
Law
and
he
is
certified
by
the
Florida
Bar

Construction
Law
Specialist.
His
practice
includes
the
representation
of
general
contractors,
construction
managers
and
other
construction
professionals
in
the
negotiation
and
preparation
of
construction
documents,
and
the
negotiation,
mediation,
arbitration
and
litigation

construction
contract
claims,
construction
and
design
defect
claims,
insurance
claims,
surety
bond
claims
and
related
matters.
Mr.
Reisman’s

law
practice

administration

Mr.
Reisman

including

projects.
He
has
litigated
and
arbitrated
cases
involving
building
cladding
systems;
roofing;
foundations;
reinforced,
prestressed
and
post
tensioned
concrete
construction;
drywall
assemblies;
masonry
construction;
stucco
and
EIFS
systems;
metal,
PVC
and
CPVC
piping
and
many
other
building
systems
and
components.
He
has
also
litigated
and
arbitrated
delay
and
impact
claims
and
presented
requests
for
equitable
adjustment
on
public
works.
Mr.
Reisman
has
served
as
an
Arbitrator
for
the
American
Arbitration
Association
in
many
construction
disputes,
including
large
complex
cases
and
international
cases,
and
has
served
as
Mediator
in
numerous
construction
and
commercial
disputes.
Mr.
Reisman's
general
litigation
practice
includes
real
estate,
banking,
insurance
and
contract
disputes,
business
torts
and
property
damage
claims.
Mr.
Reisman
is
admitted
to
practice
law
before
the
United
States
Supreme
Court,
the
United
States
Court
of
Appeals
for
the
Fifth
and
Eleventh
Circuits,
the
United
States
District
Court
for
the
Southern
and
Middle
Districts
of
Florida,
the
United
States
Bankruptcy

the

of
Florida
as
well
as
all

of
the

Florida.

Reisman
