Robert A. Drucker is a structural design engineer and has substantial experience in the construction industry. He began his engineering career as a design engineer, and then worked for contractors, first as a superintendent and then as a project manager for several commercial construction projects. He also has an extensive background in the curtainwall industry. Mr. Drucker's technical background, his work experience in the Industry from which he developed the ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications, coupled with his over twenty–five years of handling construction disputes has provided him the ability to understand and analyze the highly technical aspects of any matter and to develop solutions from both, a technical and legal standpoint.

Mr. Drucker’s law practice involves a full spectrum of services to the Construction Industry, including the formation and negotiation of construction contracts, bid protests, extensive counseling to his clients during the performance of the Project and the resolution of claims including complex claims pertaining to extra work, defective work claims, delays, suspension of work and loss of productivity claims, lien claims, subcontractor claims, insurance coverage, surety claims and other related issues. Mr. Drucker represents clients extensively in a variety of forums, including federal and state courts, appellate courts, mediations, arbitrations, dispute resolution boards and administrative boards.

Mr. Drucker has experience in the defense of construction related personal injury and property damage claims Mr. Drucker has successfully obtained the dismissal of all claims in a multimillion dollar arbitration involving defective construction and property damage case, arising out of the construction of a precast garage, as well as successfully defended against defect cases in residential, hospitals, manufacturing plants and school projects, as well as recovered twenty-one million dollars in damages for a contractor who was simultaneously terminated on three HUD housing projects.

Mr. Drucker has developed for the Construction Industry, ProjectNoticeŽ a new software risk management tool. The program is designed to provide instant access to notices mandated by the contract for any notice triggering event which may occur on a specific project, providing contractual, regulatory and statutory compliance.

In light of his accomplishments, Mr. Drucker was selected to be in Best Lawyers in America (2006-2011), New York and New Jersey Super Lawyers (2006-2009) for Construction Law

Mr. Drucker is admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States Court of Federal Claims, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the District of New Jersey, as well as the courts of the State of New York and the State of New Jersey.

Mr. Drucker is a co-managing partner of Peckar & Abramson’s New Jersey office. He is also a member of the Construction and Public Contract Sections of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Municipal and Environmental Sections of the New York State Bar Association. He is a graduate of Syracuse University, where he received his Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, and of New York Law School.
