In

his

construction

Mr.
Bressler
concentrates
his
practice
defending
Employment
Practices
Liability
and
Directors
&
Officers
claims
for
insurers
and
their
insureds.
In
the
construction
and
real
estate
fields,
Mr.
Bressler
represents
large
general
engineering
contractors,
construction
managers,
developers,
general
contractors,
subcontractors,
owners
and
property
managers.
Mr.
Bressler
has
successfully
represented
clients
in
multi-million
dollar
disputes
before
federal
and
state
courts,
litigating
several
of
these
matters
to
conclusion
in
both
jury
and
non-jury
trials.
Mr.
Bressler
has
developed
an
expertise
in
all
areas
of
construction
law
including,
but
not
limited
to,
contract
disputes,
mechanics’
liens,
stop
notices,
surety,
delay
and
defective
construction
claims
in
both
private
and
public
works.
In
the
employment
arena,
Mr.
Bressler
counsels
and
provides
training
to
employers
and
senior
management
regarding
termination,
avoiding
discrimination
claims,
general
employment
practices,
discipline,
leaves
of
absence,
accommodations,
handling
of
complaints,
employment
contracts,
investigations,
and
harassment
issues.
Mr.
Bressler
litigates
employment
discrimination,
harassment,
whistleblowing,
retaliation,
wrongful
discharge,
defamation,
misappropriation
and
other
employment-related
matters
before
federal
and
state
courts
at
both
the
trial
and
appellate
levels.
Mr.
Bressler
also
defends
his
clients
against
administrative
proceedings
before
the
EEOC
and
other
federal,
state,
and
local
fair
employment
practice
agencies.
Mr.
Bressler
also
has
extensive
experience
handling
mediations
and
arbitrations
in
alternative
dispute
resolution
(“ADR”)
forums,
utilizing
the
ADR
process
to
resolve
claims
while
achieving
positive
results
in
hundreds
of
matters.
In
addition
to
managing
a
litigation
practice,
Mr.
Bressler
has
counseled
numerous
clients
on
their
operating
protocol,
assisting
in
the
development
of
strategies
to
reduce
claims
and
minimize
losses
by
providing
in-house
seminars
and
counseling
related
to
risk
management
and
Leadership
in
Energy
and
Environment
Design
(“LEED”)
issues.
Mr.
Bressler
earned
his
Bachelor
of
Arts
degree
from
the
University
of
California,
San
Diego
and
his
Juris
Doctor
from
Southwestern
University
College
of
Law.
Mr.
Bressler
is a
member
of
the
State
Bar
of
California
and
is
admitted
to
practice
in
the
United
States
District
Court,
Central
District
and
United
Stated
Court
of
Appeals
for
the
Ninth
Circuit.
Mr.
Bressler
is
resident
in
the
Los
Angeles
office.
