Peckar & Abramson is one of the nation’s leading construction law firms, routinely handling clients’ needs throughout the United States and the world. Since its formation in 1978, Peckar & Abramson has been helping clients find solutions, settle disputes, and, when necessary, win legal battles. Our goal is to assist our clients in carrying out successful projects from start to finish by resolving issues as they arise, instead of through costly and time consuming legal proceedings after the project has been completed. We are privileged to represent many of the construction industry’s most successful contractors and other construction professionals as well as serve as counsel to many industry organizations.

Our expertise extends beyond construction law. Peckar & Abramson has an extensive government contract law and corporate compliance practice. We are fortunate to represent some of the nation’s leading defense, transportation, information technology and service contractors in the entire spectrum of legal issues facing Government contractors today. We counsel our Government contractor clients in all aspects of doing business with federal, state and local governments, including business planning, proposal preparation, bid protests, contract negotiation and administration, claims preparation and litigation and corporate ethics and compliance.

Peckar & Abramson also offers labor relations and employment law services to every type of business from Fortune 100 companies, and privately held corporations, to small family-owned firms in diverse industries. Our labor relations and employment group shares the firm’s long-standing commitment to high quality professional service by providing clients with a comprehensive package of employment and labor relations services and expertise that extends beyond traditional litigation. Our attorneys help clients create a productive and safe workplace through preventive measures, practical problem solving, sensible risk management and strategic dispute resolution.

To complement our construction, government contracts, and labor relations and employment law practices, Peckar & Abramson also offers our clients corporate compliance, real estate, and environmental law services. Our corporate and real estate groups serve a wide range of clients, from entrepreneurs to small investment banks to large multinational enterprises in many industries, including the construction industry. The environmental law group helps businesses anticipate and prevent costly environmental problems.

With offices throughout the country and affiliations with other law firms around the world, through its membership in the International Construction Law Alliance (ICLA), Peckar & Abramson offers a full range of construction and government contracts related services to its domestic and international clientele.
